How to add a cell phone to your student directory information
- Go to My UW and log-in using your NetID and Password.
- Enter the "Student Center" by clicking the link located in the box in the upper left corner.
- Scroll down to "Personal Information" and find the drop-down menu with the words "go to." currently showing.
- Click the down arrow next the words "go to." and in the subsequent drop-down menu, click "Phone Numbers".
- Click the double arrows pointed to the right to proceed.
- A new screen with the words "Phone Numbers" on top should appear. On this screen, scroll down and click the box labeled "Add A Phone Number".
- In the "Phone Type" column, click the down arrow to open the drop-down menu and select "Cellular".
- In the "Telephone" column, enter your cell phone number with area code.
- Leave the "Ext" column blank.
- Click the "Save" button located at the bottom of the page.
- A Save Confirmation page should appear with a check mark appearing next to the words "The Save was successful". Click the "OK" button on this page.
- You will now be taken back to the "Phone Numbers" page. Click the "Return to Student Center" link at the bottom of the page.
- Scroll down to find the "Contact Information" box. You should now see a "Cell Phone - View all" link in this box. If the number below this link is your cell number, you have successfully added a cell phone number.
